Annette Bechtold Granted Two Awards by National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU)Atlanta, GA – July 31, 2019 – OneDigital Health and Benefits’ Compliance Expert, Annette Bechtold has been honored recently with two prestigious awards from the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU). Earlier this month, Bechtold received the Distinguished Service Award from NAHU’s national chapter during their annual convention, which recognizes NAHU members who have a long history of making significant contributions in connection with association volunteer service at the local, state and/or national level. Bechtold then received the Kathy Cruce Award, the highest honor bestowed by Georgia’s NAHU state chapter.

Bechtold joined OneDigital in 2005 as the vice president of operations before being promoted to the senior vice president of operations in 2010. For the past eight years, Bechtold has served as OneDigital’s senior vice president of regulatory affairs and reform initiatives. In this role, she is responsible for spearheading healthcare reform initiatives and strategic development. Bechtold’s involvement with NAHU spans 13 years and she holds a number of leadership positions within the organization’s national committees, including Compliance Corner, Principal’s Council, Legislative Council, and the Futures Advisory Council, all furthering NAHU’s mission to advocate on behalf of its members and clients to ensure all Americans have access to high-quality, affordable healthcare and related services.

“I’m extremely humbled and honored to receive the Distinguished Service and Kathy Cruce Awards from the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU) and the Georgia Association of Health Underwriters (GAHU), respectively,” said SVP of Regulatory Affairs and Reform Initiatives at OneDigital, Annette Bechtold. “I’ve long admired the important work NAHU accomplishes and chose to partner with them to have a voice in shaping the healthcare landscape and make it work better for others. I am proud to know that I’ve made a recognizable difference in helping my local and state chapters and national committees maximize their impact and look forward to all we will accomplish in the future.”

“Annette has been an exceptional leader, not only for our team of compliance experts, but for OneDigital more broadly over the last 14 years,” said Adam Bruckman, President and CEO, OneDigital. “We are incredibly lucky to have her on our team, working tirelessly to advance priorities on behalf of our customers, while simultaneously navigating the often-unpredictable nature of the healthcare industry with grace and aplomb.”

Both awards require an extensive nomination and selection process to find the right recipient every year. Although few individuals have obtained both accolades, Bechtold has been the only individual to receive both distinctions in the same year.
