Compensation Planning for 2023

As employers continue to struggle with attracting and retaining employees amid fallout from The Great Resignation, The Big Quit and now Quiet Quitting and Quiet Firing, employee compensation is front and center as a key driver of employment.

According to Payscale, employees who believe they are paid below market are 50% more likely to leave, which makes understanding market values even more crucial. An effective compensation program, which attracts, motivates, and retains employees, lays the groundwork for good overall Human Resources practices.

This advisory session reviews the trends and projections for 2023 merit budgets and salary planning. OneDigital compensation experts examine some of the drivers behind these trends and the challenges employers face in making pay decisions with respect to benchmarking data and inflation rates. The discussion rounds out with any new challenges anticipated to surface in 2023 to provide HR professionals with a head start on planning and prioritizing compensation initiatives for the coming year.
