EEO-1 Data Collection for 2019 and 2020

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) announced that the EEO-1 data collection for years 2019 and 2020 will be collected beginning April 26, 2021 and will close on Monday, August 23, 2021.

The EEOC previously announced that, because of the coronavirus pandemic, the collection of 2019 EEO-1 Component 1 data was delayed.

The EEOC will be collecting “Component 1” data which has traditionally been collected in prior years. The EEOC will not be collecting “Component 2” pay data which was only collected once previously (in 2019 for data from 2018). Employers with 100 or more employees or federal contractors with 50 or more employees are required to file the EEO-1.
