In this fast-paced, stress-filled, stimulating world we all live and work in, it is critical for employers to develop and continually strengthen their employee health and wellbeing strategy.
Employee wellbeing is the most significant driver of employee participation in wellness programs that impact employee health and productivity costs. Today’s leading organizations have transitioned from physical wellness as an integral part of their healthcare strategy to wellbeing as a key aspect of their workforce strategy, and shifting their focus on the impact these programs not only have on health but overall workforce productivity and business performance. We partner with clients and provide fresh thinking approaches that drive outcomes. OneDigital’s Health & Wellbeing experts developed a process-driven approach to build tailored, effective, measurable health and wellbeing programs that are based on an organization’s employees, culture, and budget.
OneDigital is a proud sponsor of the Worksite Wellness Council of Massachusetts’ (WWCMA) Annual Conference & Exhibition taking place on October 11, 2018, at Gillette Stadium. We are quite excited to have the opportunity to connect with hundreds of other professionals invested in empowering employee health and wellbeing.
The conference’s focus this year is “Elevating the Standard of Wellbeing.” The entire WWCMA family (board members, sponsors, individual/company members, etc.) is who we want to be working alongside in helping provide our employees and clients with fresh thinking and innovative wellbeing programs. OneDigital’s Health & Wellbeing experts Sara Shannon-Tarca, Workforce Health Consultant and Shira Wilensky, National Practice Leader of Health & Wellbeing, are putting all of their energy into similar efforts and strategies as the WWCMA; it’s this common goal to elevate wellbeing that brought us together with the WWCMA.
A recent example of this occurred at an event OneDigital attended in the Berkshires when the WWCMA teamed up with Kripalu – Center for Yoga & Health, in Stockbridge, MA. This was a fantastic experience for the many employers that attended. All of us got an overview of Kripalu’s RISE program, which is an evidence-based training program designed especially for personal and professional growth of front-line employees and leadership in high stress, high stakes industries. During our five hours together, we learned about the importance of slowing down and dropping into an experience of who we really are -sounds a bit out there, but it was phenomenal and we all wanted more. It was a time to practice mindfulness, explore new ways of living and nurture oneself, centering on the 3C’s – Calm, Clarity, and Connection. The RISE Leadership program is something we’re excited to bring to OneDigital clients in the near future…
Like the WWCMA, OneDigital has been dramatically increasing its presence in the Massachusetts employee benefits and HR market.
