OneDigital Chief People Officer demonstrates strength, perseverance and a love of people in a recent interview.
In today’s workplace, the value of employee experience and engagement are at the top of the agenda, and people leaders are charged with creating exceptional experiences that address the whole person.
In a recent interview with Chris Hann of Leader’s Edge, OneDigital’s Chief People Officer Elizabeth Chrane shared an intimate look into her career, enduring the financial crisis from within the mortgage industry, a transition into insurance and then from marketing to people leadership. She shares how her upbringing in a small community helped shape her drive to “do it all,” and how she was able to turn adversity into opportunities throughout her career, demonstrating strength, perseverance and a love of people. These opportunities enabled her to drive strategies within OneDigital’s People + Culture team that increase employee satisfaction and strengthen OneDigital’s fierce culture of caring.
Chris: What’s the best part of your job?
Elizabeth: The people. I have the best fortune of working with an amazing team, and I learned early that I should always hire people who are smarter than me. OneDigital’s CEO, Adam Bruckman, is the best person I’ve ever worked for. The entire leadership team places great value on culture, retention and employee engagement.
