Employer Advisory Session: How Employers Can Support Working Parents
Working parents are facing a unique set of challenges as they attempt to balance the needs of their children – especially their schooling – with concerns about work, finances and health.
Over 66% of working parents feel their productivity has suffered trying to manage both work and childcare duties, according to a Care.com survey of over 1,000 parents with children younger than 15. The same study reported a stark 15% of parents are considering leaving the workforce altogether.
Businesses everywhere are at risk of losing critical members of the workforce because they lack a strategy to support working parents navigating work and the unexpected childcare responsibilities as a result of the pandemic.
Watch the employer advisory session, How Employers Can Support Working Parents, to hear from OneDigital’s business and HR leaders as they discuss the immediate actions employers can take to offset the immense pressure placed on the parents in their workforce.
