IRS Extends 2018 Deadline to Furnish 1095-B and 1095-C to Individuals
On December 22, the IRS issued Notice 2018-06 to announce that it is extending the January 31 deadline to provide individuals with a copy of form 1095-B and/or 1095-C by 30 days. This automatic 30-day extension does not require employers and issuers to take additional steps to request the extension. The deadlines to file the appropriate ACA reporting forms with the IRS remain unchanged.
