Mary Landen Highlights the Impact of Providing Clear Career Options for Younger Workers

With companies struggling to find a way to keep their employees, employers need to make it their goal to give entry level positions a path to grow in the future.

This week OneDigital Health and Benefits was honored as one of Silicon Valley Business Journal and San Francisco Business Times “Best Places to Work in the Bay Area.” OneDigital Pacific Region’s Vice President of Business Development Mary Landen spoke with the Silicon Valley Business Journal, about how important it is for companies to provide a clear career path for younger workers in the article, "Benefits Company Tries to Provide Clear Career Options for Younger Workers."

When we bring in a person at an entry-level position, our goal is to give them a path if they want to have it. Being a national firm, we have opportunities for younger team members – if they want to move to the East Coast, we can connect them to the team there. Our more experienced workers are looking for growth – maybe the title doesn’t change but the sophistication of the type of client does.
