The "Hairiest" Month of the Year
OneDigital is introducing an opportunity this November to change the face of men’s health awareness. We’re kicking off a companywide Movember Movement by encouraging male employees to “Grow a Mo’ to Save a Bro.” Participants will kick off the month of November with a clean-shaven face, part with their razors and work all month to try and grow the best mo’.
However, it's not all fun and games; proceeds collected during this month's Movember Movement will go to the Movember Foundation – the leading charity that brings awareness to three health issues predominately found in men: prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health/suicide.
Across the world, men die an average of six years younger than women, and we want to help change this statistic. The causes are largely preventable and it all starts with a conversation – a movement – to bring awareness to men’s health.
By encouraging participants to let their facial hair flow, (no matter the shape or style) our hope is to inspire donations, conversations and real change. Let the games begin!
