OneDigital Health And Benefits Continues Growth In New England

Tina Sparrow Appointed to Lead Firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions Efforts; Industry Veteran Jeff Cross Joins Team

FARMINGTON, Conn. – Nov. 29, 2016 – OneDigital Health and Benefits, the nation’s largest employee benefits-only company, recently announced two new personnel changes in the Farmington office: Tina Sparrow has been appointed to serve as business development executive for mergers and acquisitions and Jeff Cross joins as a principal.

Tina Sparrow’s business development role for mergers and acquisitions is a new position for OneDigital’s Northeast region. In addition to Tina’s success in sales during her three-year tenure with OneDigital, she was previously a senior account executive for 14 years with Delta Dental of New Jersey. Prior to Delta Dental, she was involved in business development for both Kaiser Permanente and ConnectiCare.

“Tina’s combination of industry experience and relationship skills will serve OneDigital well in educating the marketplace on our value proposition and attract like-minded, quality agencies to join our fast- growing organization,” says Jeff Worley, regional vice president of sales for OneDigital’s Northeast offices.

A seasoned insurance executive, Jeff Cross’ underwriting experience with local and national insurance companies and his solid carrier relationships will provide valuable knowledge and insight to the Hartford team’s 50+ members, as well as to the firm’s clients. Prior to joining OneDigital, Cross spent more than eight years as vice president of underwriting at ConnectiCare. He served as a regional vice president of key accounts underwriting at United HealthCare, supporting their Northeast, Central, and Mid-Atlantic regions; and before that worked in various sales and underwriting positions at Oxford Health in Trumbull, Conn.  “Jeff brings tremendous expertise to our team,” says Brian Driscoll, regional managing principal of OneDigital’s Northeast offices. “His experience on the carrier side and his successes navigating small and large group underwriting teams through the complex ACA changes will further broaden the capabilities and strengthen the services of our team.”
