OneDigital Retention & Growth Summit 2018: The Power of You

Each summer, I’m fortunate enough to gather with my colleagues for the annual OneDigital Retention & Growth Summit in Atlanta, Georgia.

This year, upon arriving, I could feel the infectious energy level and excitement of the 600+ OneDigital team members. As a part of the planning process, I knew this year’s conference would be great, but it exceeded my expectations.

Through the course of the conference, I heard attendees commenting that this was the “best conference yet” and that attendees “met so many incredible OneDigital colleagues.” Not only was the experience memorable but the subject matter seemed to really resonate with attendees as well. I heard from one person that “every piece of content was relevant, applicable and something I can’t wait to share with my clients.”

Each year, we are joined by an array of exclusive sponsor-partners that enables our team’s vision for the conference to come to life. In passing, I happened to hear from one of our carrier sponsors, “I’ve been to a lot of broker summits and annual meetings, but your summit was filled with an unmatched level of enthusiasm and positive energy – truly an awesome event!”

At its core, the conference was created to accomplish three primary goals:

1. Ensure the event is a valuable use of time away from work, home, families, etc.
2. Facilitate the learning of new and tangible skills personally, professionally and industry-focused to be better consultants for our clients
3. Have fun and get fired up for the second half of the year, a busy fourth quarter and start of 2019!

Sessions ranged from the latest in HR trends, to technology and compliance updates, to the launching of OneDigital solutions. The last evening concluded with a themed formal awards dinner at The Coca-Cola Roxy in the Battery to recognize client service rockstars and achievements from teams across the country.

The client services leaders that served on the conference steering committee, along with Zannette Ricketts on the Culture & Corporate Development team, did an incredible job. To say I appreciate their commitment and above and beyond efforts to make the conference a success is wildly understated.
