OneDigital Supports Roll Out of a New Compensation and Benefits Program for Town of Vail

In an effort to combat the challenges of recruitment and retention, the Town of Vail partnered with OneDigital Colorado consultants to roll out a new compensation and benefits program slated for a February 2023 implementation.

Valued at $2.8 million, the new program takes a more market-based approach while motivating great performance and promoting long service. Stacy Parker, OneDigital's Director of Compensation Practice, presented on behalf of the OneDigital consulting team and shared recommendations based on a competitive benchmarking analysis and grouping positions into pay ranges. A summarized memo of the presentation given to the town council states:

The study is intended to create a multi-year plan to reach compensation levels that are above the average of the market to help us encourage and motivate great performance, promote long service, and when we need to look outside, will attract candidates that fit our culture, and can be great employees.”
