The Complete Guide to SF HCSO

Are you an employer with one or more employees regularly working in San Francisco? Do you have 20 or more employees, globally? If you said yes to both questions, then the SF HCSO requirements could apply to you.

Employers covered by San Francisco’s Health Care Security Ordinance (SF HCSO) must complete the required Annual Employer Reporting Form each year. This would normally be due April 30, 2021. However, the latest announcement from the Office of Labor Standards Enforcement postpones the Annual Employer Reporting to at least October 31, 2021, a minimum of 6 months from the original date of April 30th. Even with no reporting obligation, employers must continue to comply with other aspects of the HCSO. To assist with your employer obligations and compliance options, OneDigital’s upcoming employer advisory session will focus on a complete guide to SF HCSO.

In this employer advisory session, our Employee Benefits Attorney, Laura Paszkiewicz, and our HR leader, Shannon Wilson give a full overview of the HCSO rules, common employer compliance issues, and employer spending requirement options.
