About the Event

In recent years, consumer-driven health plans such as high deductible health plans (HDHP), health savings accounts (HSA), flexible spending accounts (FSA), and health reimbursement arrangements (HRA) have become the go-to benefit offering to encourage consumerism amongst plan participants.

Each of these plans are regulated by a myriad of rules such as IRS and Affordable Care Act (ACA) regulations. This webinar will include an overview of those rules and what steps an employer should take to ensure compliance.

During this session, attendees will learn:

  • Pros and Cons of Consumer-Driven Health Plans
  • Limits on HDHP, HSAs, FSAs, and HRAs
  • ACA Compliance for Consumer-Driven Health Plans
  • Coordination of Consumer-Driven Health Plans with non-HDHP

*This activity has been approved for 1 HR (General) recertification credit hours toward aPHR™, PHR®, PHRca®, SPHR®, GPHR®, PHRi™ and SPHRi™ re-certification through HR Certification Institute® (HRCI®). This program is valid for 1 PDC for the SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP.
