Samantha Malovrh | Director of HR Consulting, Moderator

Samantha leads the compliance consulting services at OneDigital and partners with employers and insurance consultants to develop practical solutions to compliance issues. She has experience practicing employee benefits law and employment law, serving clients with a variety of employment-related issues, including health and welfare employee benefits, employee leave policies, accommodations, discrimination and employment contracts.

Samantha is an advocate and through her role in the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU), she lobbies for advancements in national health policy. in addition to working directly with employers, she regularly conducts compliance webinars internally and externally.

Phil Troyer | Chief Compliance Officer, OneDigital Retirement + Wealth

Phil Troyer serves as Chief Compliance Officer for OneDigital's Retirement + Wealth Division and is responsible for the firm’s overall compliance with federal and state investment laws. Phil has been a licensed attorney for over 20 years. His prior experience includes serving as General Counsel for NRP Financial and NRP Advisors, a broker-dealer and investment adviser owned by National Retirement Partners, as well as managing his own national ERISA practice, which have made him a recognized thought leader in the retirement plan industry. 

Jamie Webb- Akasaka | HR Consulting and Benefits Counsel, Compliance

As Vice President of Legal Counsel serving OneDigital's West Region, Jamie brings an impressive legal background. Admitted to the California state bar in 2002, she later left her practice as a trail attorney and partner in a law firm to join the OneDigital HR Consulting team.

Jamie serves on the regional HR Consulting executive team, manages corporates responsibilities and oversees compliance functions. Although she does not provide legal advice to clients in her current role, Jamie assists clients in areas such as critical consulting, compliance, and training.
