James Parr, SVP of Sales, Collective Health
Jamie has seen the shift in the dynamics of what people are looking for in the benefits space, and they want change — a better experience for both employees and employers. He joins Collective Health after nearly 24 years of working for Cigna serving in a variety of roles ranging from sales effectiveness to leading National Account sales for the West Region.
Jamie is an outside the box thinker dedicated to bringing employers the best possible experience for their employees, uniting their disparate benefits under one roof. Jamie received his BA in Economics from the University of Notre Dame.
Jeff Post, Chief Clinical Officer, OneDigital Pharmacy Consulting | RxConnection
Jeff Post, R.Ph. is the Chief Clinical Officer for RxConnection and would play the role of executive sponsor and strategy lead. Jeff oversees the Clinical Risk Management program which includes clinical diagnostic reporting, plan education, PBM custom programming, clinical auditing, and plan sponsor decision support. RxConnection strives to enhance the PBM performance and drive cost effective drug utilization.
Jeff has over 20 years of diverse experience in pharmacy benefits, pharmacy operations, and health system management. After his PBM trend performance results at Kettering Health Network were published as “Best Practice in 5 Year PBM Performance” for US health systems by The Advisory Board Company, he began consulting independently in 2007.
Jeff holds a BS in Pharmacy from Ohio Northern University with a course focus and clinical rotations on Pharmacoeconomics (cost effectiveness of pharmaceuticals).
Peter B. Welch, Market President, Cigna Healthcare of Northern California
Peter Welch is Market President for Cigna's Northern California market responsible for overall strategy, sales distribution, network operations and P & L. He also serves as President of Cigna Healthcare of California, a Cigna Subsidiary overseeing their California HMO products regulated by the California Department of Managed Health Care. Prior to joining Cigna in 2000, Peter held a variety of leadership positions at United Healthcare and The Travelers Insurance Company.
As past Board Chair, Peter currently serves on the Executive Committee for the California Association of Health Plans (CAHP), a trade association representing the largest California Health Plans. He also serves on the Executive Committee of the Integrated Health Care Association (IHA) Board, a coalition of Health Plans, Physician Organizations, Health Systems and key thought leaders throughout California.
Peter received his bachelor’s degree in History and Education from the University of California, Riverside. He and his family reside in the San Francisco Bay Area.
