Meet the Speakers Panel:

Keith Falk, Regional Managing Director, HR Consulting

Keith Falk is a member of the OneDigital West Region as Regional Managing Director of HR Consulting. In his role, Keith is focused on optimizing the HR Consulting organization and integrating the OneDigital benefits practice to truly realize the OneDigital vision for unmatched HR and employee benefits solutions.

Prior to joining OneDigital, Keith led human capital and operations for Fortune 500 and technology start-ups for both regional and global environments. His passion and commitment to shaping company cultures which foster engagement and development, has been the catalyst for building high-growth organizations that are admired by their communities and staff. Keith’s last company where he served as Chief Operating Officer - DLJ Financial, has been recognized as a great place to work over the last five years and successfully sold to a fintech firm.

Keith established his early career in human capital and operational leadership roles for renowned brands such as Ford, Kodak, and NTT. As a Bay Area native, Keith brought his expertise to technology start-ups building a B2B internet company from inception to the largest host of websites worldwide, resulting in a successful pre-IPO exit to NTT-Verio. Additionally, Keith is a founding partner of Human Capital Strategists LLC., a firm providing strategic consulting services in organizational development, technology, M&A, compensation, talent, training, rewards, and compliance.

Keith holds a B.S. in Business and Economics from San Jose State University. He also holds certifications in Six Sigma and SHRM and is a licensed health & life broker in California. Keith is a past president of Dana Hills Rugby Club and volunteers with The Illumination Foundation, Goodwill of Orange County, and Kids Play International.

Jamie Webb-Akasaka, VP, Legal Counsel

Jamie brings to OneDigital an impressive legal background. Admitted to the California state bar in 2002, she later left her practice as a trial attorney and partner in a law firm to join the OneDigital team.

Jamie holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of California at Berkeley and a juris doctor degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law, where she also served as the Editor-in-Chief of the U.S.F. Maritime Law Journal. She also interned at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and was a research assistant on International Human Rights. Her strong, diverse experience included practicing in the areas of business litigation and transactions, employment investigations, product liability and warranty litigation, civil rights litigation, and maritime law.

At OneDigital West, Jamie serves on the HR Consulting executive team, manages corporate responsibilities, and oversees compliance functions. Although she does not provide legal advice to clients in her current role, Jamie assists clients in areas such as critical consulting, compliance, and training.

Lesa Caputo, Principal and Benefits Advisor

Lesa joined One Digital in 2018 after growing her company, Beneflex Insurance Services over the prior 8 years and with a combined 27+ years’ experience in the insurance industry as a Senior Benefits Advisor. Lesa is a leading expert in employer benefits offerings, having worked on both the insurance carrier and broker sides of the industry.

She is highly versed in compliance and health care reform issues, topics she often addresses in our client workshops for the SBHRA Insurance Academy.

Her extensive knowledge in employee benefits, strategic abilities in plan design and funding mechanisms, and her compliance expertise make Lesa an invaluable partner to her clients. Since joining OneDigital she has been nominated to serve on their Large Group Client Advisory Committee as she is viewed by her peers to be an expert in this market segment.

Lesa graduated from UCSB with a degree in Business Economics in 1994. She lives in Ojai, CA with her husband and three daughters. She proudly serves as a board member for the Pacific Coast Region of the American Red Cross.
