Anjali Radia develops and provides legal and compliance guidance and interpretation, both internally and with clients, on all aspects of existing and proposed benefits-related laws and regulations. She has experience practicing employee benefits law and employment law, serving clients with a variety of employment-related issues, including health and welfare employee benefits, accommodations, employment discrimination and harassment, employment contracts and employer communications.
She is also experienced with federal employee benefits laws, and has advised clients on compliance with:
- Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA);
- Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA);
- Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA);
- Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA); and
- Various other laws relating to health and welfare benefit plans.
Prior to joining OneDigital, Anjali spent several years as in-house counsel at a global talent-management company advising on corporate, employee benefits and employment law issues. She also has experience advising on employee benefits compliance obligations with a national provider of consumer-directed healthcare solutions.
Anjali received a Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore, a Master of Public Health from Emory University and a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from Case Western Reserve University. She is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional, United States (CIPP/US). Anjali is a member of the Association of Corporate Counsel, In-House Benefits Counsel Network, International Association of Privacy Professionals and Maryland State Bar Association.
