Corporate culture contributes meaningfully to financial results, but many people do not give this fact enough attention. Let’s take a moment and go back in time to 2007.
While the rest of the world was rejoicing over the release of the very first iPhone, we at OneDigital had other reasons to celebrate. Inc. Magazine had launched its prestigious list of the 5000 fastest-growing companies in America, and we were recognized as a member of that group.
Fast-forward to today, and we’ve done it again!
For the 12th year in a row, we’ve made the Inc. Magazine list of the 5000 Fastest-Growing Companies in America, and I couldn’t be more excited to share the news.
This type of accomplishment doesn’t occur by chance. To even be considered for this sort of recognition, you must have three consecutive years of year-over-year financial growth. Being able to sustain that level of success is remarkable. So much so, that we’re among an elite group of only 18 companies, meaning less than one percent of companies ever listed are honored with this recognition.
Back to corporate culture and financial results – stats show that a company’s culture has a direct impact on employee turnover, which affects productivity and therefore success. Companies with happy employees outperform the competition by 20 percent, earn 1.2 to 1.7 percent more than their peer firms and are 2.1 percent above industry benchmarks. Happy workers are also more likely to solve difficult problems faster.
It serves as a reminder to everyone on our team that we have an impact on everything we do. Our clients feel it during daily interactions, our partners experience it when they come on board and our employees see it throughout their offices.
The unique thing about our growth is that it’s never been based solely on numbers. Our culture has always driven our growth and success. We’re constantly striving to uphold an exceptional company experience where everyone is invested and everyone wins. It’s that level of commitment that makes OneDigital a great place to work.
