Voices Leading the Conversation
Keynote Speaker
Tom Kurek | Director of Public-Private Partnerships, State of Colorado
Tom Kurek leads Colorado's Public-Private Partnership (P3) Collaboration Unit within the Department of Personnel and Administration, a legislative initiative created to leverage state assets in partnership with the private sector to deliver housing, childcare, and critical community infrastructure. His current work spans some of the most significant public land redevelopment efforts in the state, including a 41-acre infill development delivering 378 homes in Golden and a mixed-income community in Lakewood combining affordable housing, attainable homeownership, and on-site childcare. With a Master's in Public Administration from the University of Pennsylvania, a Certificate in Public-Private Infrastructure from Harvard, and hands-on experience managing $215M in post-Hurricane Sandy recovery programs, Tom brings a uniquely well-rounded lens to the intersection of public investment and private partnership. At our luncheon, he'll share how Colorado is turning underutilized state assets into workforce solutions and where private sector collaboration fits into that story.
