In his role as Director of Compliance and Innovation, Scott is dedicated to navigating the dynamic healthcare landscape, tailoring his expertise to address the nuanced challenges faced by employers of all sizes. His commitment lies in empowering employers to strategically optimize their health and welfare benefits platform, fostering a robust and compliant workforce.
Beyond his corporate endeavors, Scott is a committed advocate for advancing healthcare policies that benefit American consumers. His leadership extends across various roles within the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals (NABIP), where he currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Pennsylvania chapter. Recently, Scott presided as President of the Greater Philadelphia NABIP chapter from 2021-2023 and chaired NABIP’s National Legislative Committee from 2020-2021.
Acknowledged as a distinguished speaker on health policy, Scott is sought after for engagements at esteemed professional associations. His expertise led him to serve as an adjunct lecturer at Villanova University, teaching a graduate course on employer-sponsored benefit trends in 2016. In 2018, he completed an intensive program on Population Health Management from Thomas Jefferson University’s College of Population Health.
Scott’s journey includes a tenure as an associate attorney at Del Collo & Mazzanti, LLP, where he adeptly defended employers and insurance carriers against Workers’ Compensation claims. During law school, he contributed to Cephalon, Inc.’s in-house counsel, providing guidance on regulatory matters encompassing employment, patent, tax, contract law, and mass tort litigation.
Scott holds a J.D. from Villanova University School of Law and graduated with distinction from The Johns Hopkins University with a B.A. in Political Science.
