“Many Voices, OneDigital” 2022 Report Highlights Company Progress on Pledges to DEI&B

ATLANTA, GA – April 4, 2023OneDigital, a leading insurance brokerage, financial services and HR consulting firm, has released its 2022 Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEI&B) annual report, “Many Voices, OneDigital.” The report publishes data to show the firm’s progress across its five focus areas: inclusion and belonging, learning and coaching, assessment and transparency, growing the OneDigital team and social responsibility and giving.

In 2022, OneDigital advanced several key DEI&B initiatives in key areas, including:

  • Growing the Team:
    • Increased diversity in the Jumpstart Internship program by 32%.
    • Made 20% progress toward the goal of acquiring 10 minority-owned firms by the end of 2023.
    • Achieved greater gender representation in leadership roles by promoting and hiring more women into senior roles (80% of all promotions were women and 67% of all new hires were women).
  • Inclusion and Belonging:
    • Ranked 30th on the Glassdoor Best Places “Employee Choice Award” for commitment to work-life balance and diversity and inclusion.
    • Obtained over 30 Best Places to Work awards nationally and within our local communities.
    • Expanded benefits to include fertility and reproductive support and the Outschool partnership for the Working Parents Village employee resource group.
  • Learning and Coaching:
    • Achieved a 65% voluntary completion rate of the Foundations of DEI&B Learning Pathway by OneDigital people leaders.
    • Distributed 315 DEI&B certificates through a partnership with ExecOnline.
  • Assessment and Transparency:
    • Increased overall favorability rating to 88% measuring Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is valued at OneDigital.
    • Reduced the gender pay gap for existing roles by an average of 15% over the prior year, and reduced the gender pay gap to 5.5% for all organically hired roles.
    • Closed the pay gap for Asian or Pacific Islander, Hispanic or Latino and Two or More Races compared to white employees.
  • Social Responsibility and Giving:
    • Donated $2.2M to nonprofits that support local communities, many supporting DEI&B initiatives.

The report also details OneDigital’s efforts to embed DEI&B considerations into all business strategies in 2023 and beyond. A few areas of future impact include:

  • Formalize a national partnership with a DEI&B-focused organization aimed at increasing representation within the financial services sector, and
  • Annual evaluations of the OneDigital benefits and total wellbeing programs to meet the diverse needs of employees.
