ATLANTA – August 28, 2026 – OneDigital, an insurance brokerage, financial services, and workforce consulting firm, today announced Jennifer Buss has joined its Self-Funding Center of Excellence as Captive Manager for OneDigital Captive Solutions and Partnerships. In the newly created role, Jennifer will lead benefits strategy, financial analytics, captive layer funding and preservation, compliance, and carrier negotiations for OneDigital Captive members, while continuing to grow and educate clients about the captive program as it expands nationally.

Jennifer brings nearly two decades of employee benefits expertise to her new role, having built her career from the ground up across the carrier, broker, and captive sides of the industry. She began her employee benefits career in 2007, specializing in worksite benefits sales, before moving to the broker community in 2011 as a Benefits Consultant. She started working with benefit captives the following year and has been with OneDigital since 2016.
Jennifer brings extensive experience working with mid- and large-market self-funded plans, including single-cell captives, pharmacy benefits analysis, and a range of stop-loss cost stabilization strategies. Over the years, she has successfully guided numerous clients through the transition from fully insured to self-funded captive arrangements, developing customized solutions tailored to each client's unique challenges.
Jennifer has spent more than a decade earning the trust of captive members, and that trust is the foundation this program runs on. Bringing her into this role means our members get continuity from someone who already knows their business, and our program gets a leader who can take that same level of care and scale it as we grow.
