Alex McCollum

Alex McCollum serves as a Financial Planning Associate with OneDigital, where he works with individuals and families to develop thoughtful financial plans and perform in-depth financial analysis. Specializing in individual and family wealth management, Alex focuses oncultivating lasting relationships rooted in trust and clarity. His work centers on helping clients gain a clear view of their financial picture including identifying opportunities and anticipating potential challenges.

What drives Alex is seeing people grow and accomplish the goals that matter most to them. He brings a coaching mindset to every client relationship, committed to walking alongside individuals and families through life's many stages. His coaching philosophy was shaped early through his experience as a collegiant soccer player and coach.  He developed a deep appreciation for preparation, perseverance, and the power of a well-executed game plan. He further grounded that outlook with hands-on experience in banking and retail investing, building a practical foundation that informs his approach to financial planning today.

Alex holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Financial Management from Regent University, where he was an active member of the university's investment club. A proud Triad native raised in Oak Ridge, he is now based in High Point, NC, and remains closely connected to the community he calls home. Outside of work, Alex enjoys coaching and playing soccer, competing in adult recreational volleyball, and spending time with his wife and dog.
