About

Daniel serves as Senior Vice President of the Retirement + Wealth division where he focuses on developing strategic retirement plans for corporate clients and individual wealth clients. He is a recognized speaker for his utilization of fringe benefits for businesses and oversight of client portfolios. In addition, Dan has been an invited speaker to the NYSE and various boards, and actively lectures to CPAs. His writings have been published by various journals and newspapers.

Dan began his career on Wall Street working for E.F. Hutton in 1983. Subsequently, he worked for major brokerage firms, benefits firms and closely held businesses. He holds a BS in finance from Old Dominion University and has received professional designations as a Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®), Registered Health Underwriter® (RHU®) and Registered Employee Benefits Consultant® (REBC®). Dan has also earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) professional designation, awarded by the Center for Fiduciary Studies, which is associated with the University of Pittsburgh’s Center for Executive Education. In addition, he is a Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA), certified through ASPA and designated as as an Enrolled Retirement Plan Agent (IRS#619EP).

Dan serves on the board of directors for various businesses and charitable organizations.
