Fred Schroeder is a Client Executive on OneDigital's Property & Casualty team in Chicago, and his path to insurance is anything but conventional. That's precisely what makes him effective.
 
Fred holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology and spent years managing natural disaster relief and restoration efforts across the United States. He's walked through the aftermath of real losses — has seen what happens when risk is underestimated, when coverage gaps get discovered too late, and when businesses are left piecing things together without the answers they needed. That experience doesn't leave you. It's what pushed Fred toward a different kind of insurance work.

Today, he partners with business owners, operators, and decision-makers across industries to identify vulnerabilities, close coverage gaps, and build risk management programs that hold up when it counts. He doesn't lead with a quote or a brochure. He digs into operations, asks the hard questions, and makes sure clients understand exactly what they have, what they're missing, and why it matters, before a claim forces that conversation.

His philosophy is straightforward: build real relationships, educate first, and solve problems before they become losses.
