Jay Hager is Principal and Senior Vice President, Financial Services at OneDigital in Apex, NC. He helps individuals, families, and business owners with their financial planning needs. As an investment advisor representative, he holds the CFP® certification and the RICP® designations. Jay believes in earning trust and is dedicated to guiding clients through every stage of their financial journey.
Since 1997, Jay has dedicated his career to serving others and helping people achieve financial freedom. He is fascinated by numbers and the financial side of things. The financial industry is ever-changing and he is continually learning new things that can potentially benefit his clients.
Jay was born in Michigan and spent most of his childhood in a small town in West Virginia. Growing up, his family didn't have much financially, and he witnessed firsthand the stress that financial uncertainty can place on a family. This experience has driven him to help others escape that stress and find balance in their financial lives through careful management of assets, spending, and cash flow.
On a personal note, his wife Susan is his rock. She has stood by his side through good times and bad, always motivating him and keeping him balanced. He is also incredibly proud to have his two children, Elaine and Adam, working alongside him in the business. While he has no plans to retire anytime soon, it is reassuring for his clients to know that they are in good hands if anything were to happen to him. Elaine and Adam are passionate about learning and growing in this field and, most importantly, they share a deep desire to help others—a quality that cannot be taught.
