Jeff Hirst

Jeff advises and assists professional organizations in mitigating and managing professional and business risk. His goal is to help clients reduce their overall cost of risk and improve company performance by providing the tools and resources needed to reduce, transfer, and prevent loss — a process that simultaneously supports both performance and profitability.

Jeff serves on the Board of Directors for the Professional Liability Agents Network (PLAN), a North American network of insurance professionals specializing in serving the design community, with representatives in every U.S. state and Canadian province. He served as President of PLAN from 2012 to 2013.

A recognized thought leader in his field, Jeff is frequently called upon to speak at professional associations and societies on topics related to professional liability and risk management. These include the American Institute of Architects Utah, the American Council of Engineering Companies Utah, Utah Chapters of the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Utah Council of Land Surveyors, and the Utah Association of Public Charter Schools. He also supports clients in legislative efforts affecting their industries, providing guidance on matters with liability and insurance implications.

Jeff serves Utah businesses with an emphasis on Architects & Engineers and Charter Schools. He lives in Kaysville with his wife and six children, and the family enjoys spending time together outdoors.
