About
Marc Dorneles serves as a commercial property casualty advisor at OneDigital, where he helps businesses navigate the full spectrum of P&C insurance. He works with companies going through growth, complexity, or change. Clients range from tech, life sciences, real estate investment portfolios, private equity / venture related or backed businesses, professional services organizations, food and beverage, and beyond. The core outcome: clarity, confidence, improved care, and coverage that actually fits.
He’s been in commercial insurance for over 20 years, starting on the carrier side at Chubb before spending the vast majority of his career in brokerage - most notably as a Principal at CAL Insurance, before joining OneDigital directly in 2024.
He holds a B.S. in Business Administration, Cum Laude, from Norwich University, in addition to a certificate in philosophy and theology from St. John's University. He also holds a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation, reflecting a commitment to technical depth and professional standards.
He focuses on tailored, comprehensive strategies built to perform. Every engagement starts with understanding a business — growth trajectory, exposures, and gaps, known or unknown. Clear, timely, actionable guidance, and risk mapping are key objectives so that decisions are informed and confident.
Marc is a highly engaged partner who cares. He explains coverage in an easy but technically effective manner. He fiercely advocates for clients, building long-term relationships.
He’s originally from N.Y.C. but is rooted in the San Francisco Bay Area with his beloved wife and daughter. He cherishes life-giving relationships with the business and personal community and is a very active, committed volunteer for multiple causes.
