Mary Lou Karins

Mary Lou joined OneDigital (formerly KBM Management) in 2013 as an Account Manager in our Quality Assurance Audit Department. She has decades of experience in the Workers’ Compensation industry, including claims management handling, supervision and marketing. Her extensive claims experience and knowledge was gained from working with both a global based insurance company and Third-Party Administrator.

The management team promoted Mary Lou to Director, Workers’ Compensation and currently acts as Plan Manager for a number of self-insured Workers’ Compensation consortiums of school districts and Municipalities in New York State. She and her team of supporting consultants have created savings in the tens of millions of dollars for our clients and the taxpayers who fund them. Her effective Plan Management skills have been highlighted through presentations at a number of Associations throughout New York State.

Mary Lou is a licensed Independent New York State Adjuster in Motor Vehicle, No-Fault & Workers’ Compensation Health Services. She is also a Certified Risk Manager. Mary Lou is a graduate of State University of New York College at Buffalo where she holds a Bachelor of Science Degree.
