Michael Clark is the National Practice Leader of Global Benefits Solutions at OneDigital, where he leads the firm’s global consulting strategy and delivery. With over two decades of industry experience, Michael is a trusted advisor to multinational organizations across a wide range of industries, with deep expertise in Energy (Oil & Gas), High-Tech, Life Sciences, Professional Services, and Private Equity.

Prior to joining OneDigital, Michael served as Area Senior Vice President and Global Growth Leader for the Multinational Benefits & Mobility (MBM) practice within Gallagher’s Benefits & HR Consulting Division. His global consulting experience includes designing and implementing comprehensive Global Benefits and Total Rewards strategies for employers at all stages of international expansion. In addition to providing complex Global Benefits Management (GBM) solutions, Michael is well-versed in supporting Expatriates, Third Country Nationals (TCNs), and Local Nationals, ensuring inclusive, compliant, and cost-effective benefit solutions worldwide.

Earlier in his career, Michael worked with Fortune 500 companies to establish captive insurance structures, including feasibility analyses for reinsuring multinational pooling arrangements and developing employee benefits and property & casualty captives. He has played a central role in establishing more than half of the U.S. Department of Labor-approved Prohibited Transaction Exemptions (PTEs) for funding life and long-term disability insurance in captives. His expertise also includes funding medical stop-loss programs and evaluating retiree medical funding strategies via captive arrangements.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in Health Management & Policy from the University of New Hampshire. He is active in the global benefits community, serving as a member of the Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers (CIAB), and holds a Certificate in Global Benefits Management from the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP). He serves on multiple global carrier advisory boards and, since 2016, has chaired the Global Benefits Committee for the New England Employee Benefits Council (NEEBC) and sits on the Board of Directors.
