Shawn Allen

Shawn Allen is a Managing Principal at OneDigital in Massachusetts, where he partners closely with employers to deliver strategic, long-term solutions for their employee benefit needs.

With extensive experience across both small and large market segments, Shawn works with self-funded and fully insured clients, including organizations with globally distributed workforces. Prior to OneDigital, Shawn founded McWalter Benefits Group in 2018 alongside Cato Anderson and Tim Gibson after spending 14 years at a boutique firm.

An accomplished athlete, Shawn competes in marathons, Spartan Races, and virtually any challenge he can find. He brings the same tenacity, grit, and sense of humor from his athletic pursuits into his professional life, an approach that has helped his clients achieve meaningful results, including significant cost savings and optimized benefit strategies.

Shawn attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst in the early 1990s, where he met his wife. They live in the MetroWest area of Boston now with their three children. Deeply committed to his community, Shawn coaches youth sports, volunteers with a local nonprofit, and is an active member of the local Chamber of Commerce.

A former member of the U.S. Marine Corps, Shawn is also an avid sports enthusiast. He is a licensed Life, Accident, Health, and Property & Casualty Producer.
