As President and CEO of OneDigital, Adam Bruckman has led the company from a start-up firm into the largest national agency exclusively focused on employee benefits. Under Adam’s leadership, the organization has consistently reached aggressive financial goals year-over-year and has been named annually to the Inc. 5000 List of America’s fastest-growing companies since the honor’s inception in 2007.
OneDigital has grown exponentially in recent years through organic growth and by acquiring high-performing advisory firms in key markets. Headquartered in Atlanta, it serves 30,000 companies and manages nearly $4 billion in premiums.
Innovation has been the hallmark of Adam's leadership since the company launched in 2000. He continually evolves the business model to take advantage of marketplace opportunities, such as the Affordable Care Act. As convergence between benefits advisory services and human resource software and service accelerates, OneDigital has made a significant investment in technology. The company is poised to diversify and lead industry transformation in this arena for the SMB market.
Creating a dynamic organizational culture focused on growth and community service has been another element contributing to Digital’s success. In addition, Adam advocates a work-life balance for the company’s 800+ employees and does so himself by focusing on his personal passions. He serves as director and varsity coach for the Lassiter High School Lacrosse team, as well as director and chairman of Safe Kids of Georgia’s development committee.
Adam is actively involved in The Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers as a member of the board of directors, the legislative committee and the Employee Benefits Advisory Board. In 2014 the Council honored him as one of the top 100 innovators who have changed the industry. In addition, he is the recipient of the Institute for HealthCare Consumerism’s 2012 “CEO Leadership Award” and its “Superstar Industry Innovator Award.” Bruckman is also a member of the Young Presidents’ Association, Southern Seven Chapter.
Prior to OneDigital, Adam's experience included positions at healthcare technology companies and insurance carriers. He is a 1990 summa cum laude graduate of Tufts University, with a bachelor’s degree in economics.
