Emily Bailey is the managing principal at OneDigital’s Hartford operation, a team of experienced, local employee benefits advisors and consultants who deliver greater value for clients and inspire individuals to become more engaged healthcare consumers. Emily enables her team to challenge clients with strategic and creative options to help them control costs and increase employee engagement, retention and recruitment.
In addition to coaching and mentoring an impressive team of employee benefits consultants and principals, Emily provides insightful and refreshing commentary on the evolving generational differences in the workplace, innovative insurance options, culture and engagement as seen in both her writing and captured by industry publications.
Emily has an extensive amount of experience in providing clients with strategic benefit planning and plan evaluation, interpreting Health Care Reform and compliance requirements, risk management, designing progressive plans to support alternative funding methods, health improvement initiatives and global benefits solutions. In December 2020, Emily achieved her Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation.
Emily is an active member of her community and is involved in supporting numerous organizations including service as a member of ConnectiCare’s Broker Advisory Council, Trinity Health of New England’s Broker Advisory Council, and Cigna’s Women’s Leadership Council. In addition, she also serves on the board of directors for The Healing Meals Community Project, a local nonprofit dedicated to delivering healthy meals to families struggling with a health crisis.
