Gary Oetgen is a Managing Principal at OneDigital and has more than 42 years of experience in insurance planning, being licensed with all leading employee benefits’ carriers in Georgia and South Carolina. He has also been a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) from The American College for over 12 years. As managing principal; Gary oversees teams to optimize successful operational impacts for their corporate clients along with being actively involved in business, community, and charitable organizations. He intends to remain an integral component within and around Savannah, personally demonstrating support and appreciation to the generous community.
Before OneDigital, he participated in forming Savannah's first fully insured managed care group medical plan with Georgia Healthcare Partnership (GHP). He was appointed to the Health Strategies Council by Governor Perdue, representing the Private Health Insurance Industry. Gary also joined the National Board of Directors for United Benefit Advisors in 2010.
Gary holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Risk Management and Insurance from the University of Georgia – Terry College of Business. In his free time, he enjoys various boating pursuits and spending time with family and friends.
