Janna Hamstra is a Principal of OneDigital Health and Benefits, a national agency with experienced, local employee benefits advisors who create greater value for employers and inspire individuals to become more engaged healthcare consumers.
Janna has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry beginning with a national insurance carrier in Houston where she utilized her disability, life and long term care expertise to educate hundreds of benefit advisors across Texas. After moving to Central Texas and to a benefit advisor role with a local brokerage firm, she continued to develop expertise in health insurance solutions working with groups of ten to ten thousand employees. Prior to joining OneDigital in 2018, Janna was the President of her own firm and led for a decade with the strength of experience and understanding, a high bar for success and genuine care for its impact on clients.
Janna particularly excels at advising clients with complex needs and has been quoted in several local and national media outlets as an industry thought leader and Affordable Care Act expert. She has furthered her benefits expertise by obtaining the following licenses and certifications: Life & Health Insurance Counselor – Texas Department of Insurance, Patient Protection and Affordability Care Act, ACA Certified – National Association of Health Underwriters, Health Care Self-Funding Certified – National Association of Health Underwriters.
Janna lives in San Antonio with her family and is actively involved with several philanthropies including Villages of Hope Africa, where she and her daughter travel to remote Ugandan villages.
