About
Matt is the Managing Principal for OneDigital Philadelphia. He was formerly the President and Principal of Trinity Benefit Advisors, which was acquired by OneDigital in April 2019. With over 24 years of experience in the employee benefits market, he brings a wealth of knowledge to each and every client.
Matt started his career at Horizon Blue Cross in New Jersey. After a brief one-year stay, he spent the next five years at Independence Blue Cross in Philadelphia in the marketing division working with employer groups. Always an entrepreneur at heart, Matt started an Employee Benefits Consulting firm called Benefit Development Group in 2001 in Malvern, PA and grew the business to over 300 clients in the Tri-State Area. In May of 2006 he partnered with Brown and Brown (the sixth largest publicly traded insurance agency in the country) to assist with his client’s needs. In June 2009, he felt the calling to start his own agency and partnered with Chas Pires and Bill Fitzgerald and formed Trinity Benefit Advisors. With Matt at the helm overseeing all aspects of Trinity Benefit Advisors (TBA), TBA quickly grew over 10 years and attracted the attention of OneDigital this past year. The partners of TBA were drawn to OneDigital’s focus on delivering market-leading benefits solutions including a sophisticated combination of strategic advisory services, analytics, compliance support, technology, and HR capital management tools.
A graduate of Villanova University, Matt resides in the Valley Forge area with his wife and four children. In his free time, he enjoys golf and attending his kids sporting events. In warmer weather, you will find the entire Mink family enjoying the beaches of NJ and Florida!
