Vathana brings to OneDigital a solid legal background of understanding an employer’s needs. Admitted to the Oregon state bar in 2006 and the Georgia state bar in 2019, she has practiced law exclusively as in-house counsel.
Vathana holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Austin College and a Juris doctor degree from Lewis & Clark Law School, where she also served as an Alumni Board Member for several years. She also volunteered with the District Counsel’s Office of the Small Business Administration and the federal nonprofit SCORE in Portland, Oregon. Her practice areas covered contract law, intellectual property, corporate maintenance and governance, asset purchases, licensing and regulatory matters, and, of course, employment law.
At OneDigital, Vathana joins the national HR Consulting Compliance Team advising and providing support for compliance functions. Although she does not provide legal advice to clients in her current role, Vathana assists clients in areas such as critical consulting, compliance, and training.
