Eric Haglund is a principal at OneDigital, a national team of experienced, local employee benefits advisors who create greater value for employers and inspire individuals to become more engaged health care consumers.
With over twenty-six years of experience in the insurance industry, Eric is known for his knowledge in client services, creative plan design, risk and cost reduction. He continually shares this expertise engaging companies at various speaking events on health care reform. Haglund has been a leader in our Private Exchange initiative in Georgia and North Carolina. The Digital Benefit Marketplace automates what most HR professionals would describe as a cumbersome and a difficult process. It also includes many exclusive and custom products that carriers have created only for OneDigital. Haglund uses these products to greatly reduce the employee’s risk they face with today’s high deductibles and out of pocket costs. The final result: The employees have more options enabling them to purchase appropriate coverage for their stage in life. Appropriate coverage means better value. Better value usually means cost savings.
Haglund graduated from the University of Georgia Terry School of Business with a bachelor's degree in business administration/marketing. Entering the insurance business straight out of college, Eric has owned Georgia Benefits Inc. for over 20+ years and has received numerous accolades throughout his career, including being named "New Agent of the Year" at the General Agents and Managers Conference, a "Silver Medalist" by Mass Mutual National Career Development and "MVP Broker" by Coventry Healthcare of Georgia.
Haglund is a NAIFA/NSAA "National Sales Achievement Award" recipient, qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table since 2002 and a Top of the Table 2009 qualifying member. Haglund's expertise has been featured in industry publications such as Benefits Pro and the Atlanta Business Chronicle. Additionally, he's a Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Georgia Broker Advisory Council member and served on the United Healthcare Agent Advisory Board since 2006. Haglund has been a member of the Transamerica leading producer group since 2012 and Humana’s Leaders Club since 2013. He has been a member of Digital’s Pinnacle Group since its inception in 2013 and he has been nominated for the national title of Broker of the Year by Employee Benefit Advisor Magazine.
