Gavin Smith is a senior benefit advisor at OneDigital, a national team of experienced, local employee benefits advisors who create greater value for employers and inspire individuals to become more engaged health care consumers.
Gavin has over two decades of experience within the insurance industry. Prior to joining Digital, he co-founded, Eagle Benefit Plus, a privately owned insurance brokerage specializing in the federal employee market. Gavin then moved to Stowe Associates, a well respected Insurance Broker and Third Party Administrator, and maintained relationships with new and existing clients. He served as a recognized subject matter advisor on multiple federal human resource compliance regulations, including ADA, FMLA, COBRA, and policy provisions.
Gavin holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Finance from the University of Florida. In addition, he was awarded a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist designation, NAHU Consumer Driven Plans Counselor designation, and NAHU Health Care Reform Certification.
He is active in both his business and local communities. Gavin is a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters, the International Foundation of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists, the Society for Human Resource Management, and the Boy Scouts of America. He has received many awards as a Peak Performer with many Insurance Companies.
Gavin is licensed to sell life, accident, and health insurance in Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
