In a remarkable display of community spirit and philanthropy, OneDigital Ohio hosted it’s 7th Annual Charity Golf Outing at the prestigious Weymouth Country Club in Medina, Ohio on June 26, 2023.

Amidst the beautiful greens of Weymouth Country Club, the participants of the OneDigital Ohio Charity Golf Outing demonstrated their boundless generosity. Through their unwavering support and enthusiastic contributions, we were able to raise an astounding amount of $9,500 dollars for each beneficiary. Every dollar raised during this event holds the power to bring hope, support, and tangible change to those in need. The impact of our golf outing extended far beyond the golf course. This year, we proudly partnered with four outstanding organizations, each dedicated to addressing critical needs within our community.

Serving as a pillar of support for individuals and families facing challenging circumstances, Community Action Wayne/Medina strives to empower and uplift. Their comprehensive programs focus on combating poverty, providing essential resources, and fostering sustainable change. By supporting this organization, we contribute to a stronger and more resilient community.

Lifebanc

Lifebanc is a champion of hope and second chances. Through their tireless efforts, they raise awareness about the importance of organ, eye, and tissue donation. By facilitating the organ donation process, Lifebanc helps transform lives and bring solace to individuals awaiting transplants and their loved ones. Our partnership with Lifebanc allows us to actively participate in the journey of saving and improving lives.

Akron Canton Food Bank

Hunger knows no boundaries, affecting individuals and families across our region. The Akron Canton Food Bank stands at the forefront of the fight against food insecurity. By collecting, storing, and distributing nutritious food, they provide sustenance and hope to those in need. Together, we contribute to their mission of nourishing our community and alleviating the burden of hunger.

Stewart's Caring Place

Dealing with cancer can be an arduous journey, both physically and emotionally. Stewart's Caring Place offers a haven of support for individuals and families impacted by this disease. With their compassionate services, including emotional support, counseling, and educational resources, they provide comfort and guidance. By standing alongside Stewart's Caring Place, we extend a lifeline to those navigating the challenges of cancer.

Golfers from diverse backgrounds and skill levels converged, their shared commitment to philanthropy fostering a strong sense of camaraderie. Despite the weather, laughter, friendly competition, and heartfelt conversations echoed across the course, creating an atmosphere of unity and purpose. The 7th Annual Charity Golf Outing held at Weymouth Country Club was a testament to the incredible power of community support and compassion. With the unwavering dedication of our participants, sponsors, and supporters, we raised $38,000 to benefit Community Action Wayne/Medina, Lifebanc, Akron Canton Food Bank, and Stewart's Caring Place. This collective effort will undoubtedly create a lasting impact on the lives of countless individuals and families within our community.
