Matthew A. Clarke is Principal and Senior Client Executive at OneDigital, the nation’s leading insurance brokerage, financial services and HR consulting firm. Leveraging his decades-long industry experience and OneDigital’s technology-forward solutions, Matt works closely with employers on strategies necessary to drive business growth and people potential.
He previously served as Co-Founder and Vice President of Sales for Bouchey & Clarke Benefits, Inc., (B&C) in Troy, New York, before the company was acquired by OneDigital in February 2022. In this role, he was responsible for Chamber relations, designing and implementing health, dental, and disability plan options, carrier negotiations, and direct and alternative distribution channels. He primarily worked with the firm’s mid- and large market clients where he creates new strategies, structures rating proposals, develops RFP’s, and supports sales associates.
Prior to co-founding B&C, Matt created his own benefits and insurance brokerage. Fully licensed for Health, Disability, Life and Accident Insurance for almost four decades, Matt’s experience includes managing a sales and service office for First UNUM for seven years. He also helped to create a Life and Benefits Department for Don Allen Agency, a Property/Casualty agency in Rochester, NY.
Matt has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Allegheny College in Meadville, PA. While attending Allegheny, he was twice named All-American in golf, was Co-Captain of the 1983 Division III NCAA National Championship Golf Team and was named to the Allegheny Athletic Hall of Fame in 1993. He continues to compete in local, state and national golf events.
Balancing life has always been an integral part of Matt’s life with family and work. An active member of several area Chambers of Commerce, Matt has utilized his passion for and experience in golf to assist many charities with fundraising and event planning. Matt also has a keen interest in local community programs and cultural venues, and continues to enjoy supporting community and culture with his family.
